Just finished coding some new features.

  • auto pm to the rig owner when a user comments on the rig
  • added a getnew on main rig page. This will get all the new/modified rigs and new omments added to the rig since your last visit to te. So this is dependant upon your cookie timeout and will show only rigs that are modified since your last visit to te.
  • featured rig now takes random rigs which have atleast one photo uploaded.
  • fixed a "no new rigs" in the search query even when there were results to show.

Point Number 2 is awaiting feedback :)

was working on something else but tht i might add this now since i missed a comment on my lappy :lol:

btw a small bug fixed already. You will not get a pm now when you comment on your own rig :)
 
ok some more small bugs fixed. comments will now return distinct rigs only even if the rigs have had multiple comments while you last visited

^^if you can't understand what i meant ;) leave it.. you didn't face the issue then :D
 
Good fixes... the rig gallery also needs additional fields like Chassis and Soundcard.
 
and also 3dmark06. Ditch 3dmark01, its now useless anyway. insted have space for 3dmark06 score and orb link.
 
hmm have to run an altertable for all this ;)

pretty dangerous query to run without backing up. am doing/coding something else right now so you have to keep do with these for some days ;)

OT: pretty lukewarm response to the new rigs/comments since last visit feature addition. i tht you guys would have loved that :lol:
 
Final Feature addition: (lol a pretty old request and i guess rahul won't like it ;))

The featured rig on main page is now selected at random from all rigs having photos(well one more reason why you should upload a image with your rig)

no battle zone till next update. as i said above, i am busy with something else.
 
Wonderful features added SN, makes navigating & following up on TE Rig's a breeze. :thumb:

Hope all of the TE members utilize this opportunity of updating their rig details and also upload images of their rig's(at the least they can upload few screenshots of their o/c rig's like pi scores, b/w tests or even cpu-z screenie's). That way their rig would be featured on the Rig Gallery - Main Page sooner or later ;)

Once more great job by Admin's & not to forget considering this is a TE Exclusive just makes it more awesome :D
