^ Seems fine :)

- Try getting the Asus P5B Dlx instead of the DS3. Both are priced similarly, but most prefer the P5B.

- LG H42N is more widely available now and is a good choice. Its Asus 1608P3S - not PS3 ;). The Benq 165x series arent available, you would mostly find the 1670 models, so stick with either the LG or the Asus.

Dont really think there's much you ought to look out for, since all the cables (IDE, Sata, etc) usually come bundled with the board.

Since u've said tht ur budget for psu is 3-4k max, in tht case, powersafe 500w psu is a good choice..it comes with a 3 yr. warranty..

Cabinet is completely a matter of personal choice, u can check with ur dealer and pick the one which appeals to u..but i'll say again, dont go for a bundled cabinet+psu..especially if its a low end cab..iball cabinets are a good example..their cabinets look cool but the psu sucks big time..i have seen iball psus going kaput within a day or two of purchase and taking everything with it as well..:eek:hyeah:

its better to get a simpler cabinet and a good psu instead a snazzier cabinet and a bad psu..afterall what good is a snazzy cabinet if everything is fried inside..:p

You could even fit an Antec SmartPower 2.0 400W into your budget, or their budget line Basiq 500W model. Coolermaster's ExtremePower series would fit in too - but i'm not sure of the models/pricing.

And as Private Ryan said dont bother too much for cabby + PSU combinations.

Also noticed a new cabby called the NSK 4400 on the IT Depot website listed for some ~5.2k. That seems to have a pretty decently spec'ed 380W PSU off their HE (high efficiency) series.

If you can spend up to 3.5k, Go for the Cooler Master Extreme Power 600W. As for cabinet, select any you like, just ensure that it has good ventilation.

Why dont u go for the centurion 534+ of cooler master with the 380W smps. It will sure come in a special bundle price to u.

else u go for the 600W also if u wanna use high watts PSU.

Just search the market but stuck to the Cooler master. mey the market may convert ur thinking but the efficeincy of cooler masters psu are really good enough to meets every mother boards needs

Think twice for others but don't even try to thin for cooler master
