Samsung has announced that it will unveil its next version of the highly successful Galaxy Note at the end of this month . The Galaxy Note 2 will be announced at the mobile unpacked event in Berlin in August 29th .
"We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29," a Samsung spokesman said on Friday, without elaborating. The event will take place two days before the opening of Europe's biggest consumer electronics trade fair IFA.
This would mean that the Galaxy Note 2 will be announced about 2 weeks before the announcement of the highly anticipated iPhone 5 . The new Galaxy Note is rumored to have larger 5.5 inch display and a quad-core Exynos processor like its smaller brother Galaxy S III .
