My almost new screen a Dell S2330MX which i bought almost two weeks ago was working fine but all of a sudden has started to show blank screen's without reason. The screen shows the ON light but the screen seems as if the monitor is off, i tried to attach a different DVI cable and even a VGA cable but the same thing occurs at random intervals and for random periods of time but generally short.

My whole system is new bought about 2-4 weeks ago. The system includes a F1A75 M Pro with a 3870K the PSU is a cheap CM 350 PLUS since my old Glacialtech 650W has gone bonkers. Can the PSU be at fault since its not exactly 80+ but since there are no GPU's attached to the system right now all should have been fine.

I cant understand what part is at fault here, the PSU, the CPU, the Mobo or the screen?

shine a bright light on the monitor and see if you can any image in it when it turns black. probably the inverter in the monitor is going bad. if you can see image in it, time to rma it.

Found the solution it was Windows 7 fault, well not 100% sure but i installed Windows XP and no more blank screens at all. I will try and install Win 7 again but since i only have a Windows Home Basic version which is 32bit it maybe a matter of lack of S/W support.

I have downloaded SP1 for Win 7 32bit will update with results...
