WTH is wrong with the Mod's?

No Warnings no nothing. All i just manage to see it

Ahem, according to your "Rules" there should be no link to a Competing Site.

HOW THE HELL IS MY CLAN, ONE OF THE ONLY INDIAN CLAN WEBSITES IN INDIA, a COMPETING SITE???

You know, i even linked back TechEnclave on the main page. I think time has come to remove it, this sucks.

Dont flame me please, im just telling it as it is!

Discuss the issue here. I dont think if done anything wrong.

Btw, i lost ALL MY SIG DATA, The JPG Image, and now i have to write my entire sig again. Thanks TEAM TECH ENCLAVE! :hap2: /sarcasm

Sorry but i think you have been a member on TE long enough to realize that signature rules are implemented out here strictly.
And besides,
Your sig still did not fit into the old rules either.
Same with kidoman.
And a few others.

Please note that you had been given more than 24 hrs to edit your signatures.

Your sig was removed due to image size not matching.
Besides u had text in ur sig with your image which was not in accordance to the standards set previously. It was more then 500x100 pixels. Thus your sig was edited.
 
Please note, normally youd give me A DAMN PRIVATE MESSAGE. I didnt get even 1 :@.

Anyways, i hope my new sig isnt in conflict with TE Rules.

Temme 1 thing, how is a "Gaming Clan", a Competitor with TE?

Just tell me that, and ill keep my mouth shut.
 
As mentioned above, the sig was removed not due to the link in your signature but the other contents, like img size, dimension and text.
It was in no way related to the link.

Also, your current sig is also not within the rules as it contains two blank lines. Note that each blank line is also counted.

And it is impossible to notify all by PM everytime.
Besides if i am not wrong, you have been warned by PM before also.

Anyways, the sigs were edited not only for you but for many other offending members.
 
@gf: Your current sig is still not following the rules and no its NOT about the link, which is why XT asked you to read the rules carefully :)

Let me point out where you're out of spec:

- For signatures containing image(s) and text, a maximum size of 500 Pixels in Width and 100 Pixels in height with a size of 30KB or less is allowed.

- The Text along with the image cannot exceed 2 lines with the size set as 2 or below. No smilies are allowed in such a signature. No code or quote tags allowed with such a signature. (EDIT: Seems you've removed the text and the code/link you had earlier)

I've explained it in a simpler manner than XT, correct the above mentioned and it should be perfect. You can put back the link too. Any other doubts feel free to get back to me :)
 
MY image is well within the 500*120 restrictions.
Its smaller than yours for christ sake.

I had the sig for like more than 5 days and no1 said anything, not even in a post.
Am i supposed to get a Jhatka than OOOO, XT has a problem with my sig!

Yea well thanks for telling me that AFTER deleting my ENTIRE sig.

Btw.. for me, this is 2 lines.. So i dont care if you have a sad 15" or 12" Monitor.

This is with a 1024 x 768 resolution, which is the average most people use.

And 2 lines doesn't make a difference eevn if you have a 50" plasma. We only allow upto 90 characters per line.

well the rules are there in place specifically for us "sad" ppl who dont use 1600*1200 all the time :bleh: so stick to them and please quit throwing tantrums

What has 500 x 120 pixels got to do with image size being LESS THAN 30KB?

Considering we've spent almost 10 posts trying to explain a simple fact to you, which you clearly cant comprehend .. I wonder what difference a PM would have made? :P

hey dude cool it pal even i got a warning for having a sig which was against the rules and i removed it a day back. i dont think not many people knew abt that. So why the fuss
 
This is not a war between mods nor is it a flaming thread.
We introduced new rules, we posted an announcement for the benifit of all members about the same.
And besides to quote from the Rules:
These rules are subject to change as and when needed. Any changes thus made, will be updated here along with a revision date. It's the member's responsibility to keep a check on the rules and guideline changes from time to time. Incase of any doubts with the current guidelines, please contact a staff member immediately.

So, i am sorry but your argument here is baseless.
Abusing mods and posting other abuses is not the way to go as by doing so you are only violating more and more rules.
