Standard optical Drives & other peripherals

BACKUP TIME: minimum 1 Hour

know any UPS which is scalable i.e can be added additional battery lateron to extend backup time....

P.S : I am running a APC 650 pro and it gives me only 15min backup on my current system with 17 inch CRT...:mad:

APC 1000VA should give you about 30 mins or so backup with that rig, it costs ~6.5k and you can buy a battery pack to extend your backup time for about 4.5k

else get the 1.5kva APC for ~10k+ and add the battery pack to it

well the APC BR1000IN costs approx 6.4k it will suit ur 1hr back up time at full load provided u buy the optional batteries BR24BP which cost additional 4k.

@OP
External batteries have maintenance problems.
so consider that.
BTW why u need such a long backup time.
15min is more than enough for saving ur work and shutting down.
