Are these rebates real or just gimmicks

I read in few forums that these rebates are like lotteries, not everyone get it

lol... MIR could be but not IR... Cause it applies at the time you pay... For us indians it is $165... Which is not bad at all...

ya, its actually quite hard to get rebates

Once you recieve the product, you have to remove the UPC (Universal Product Code) which is the barcode and send it back to these people. After a couple of months they send you back the MIR amount.
Usually you have to bug these people to get the MIR , and since its already 2 months past , people tend to forget about it
