yayyy! aXXo is back!
aXXo prayer:

Our Ripper, who art on mininova,
aXXo be thy name.
Thy torrents come.
Seeding will be done,
Here as it was on suprnova.
Give us this day our latest rips.
And forgive us our leeching,
As we forgive those that leech from us.
And lead us not on to private trackers;
But deliver us from the MPAA:
For thine is the ripping, the seeding, and the glory,
For ever and ever.

Amen…

u mean u download full DVD9 HD movies of 7-8 gb ? or HD DVD rips ?

can the HD rips also be called HD movies ?? or is there a big difference in quality ?

cause i recently saw a full movies's HD rip of only 700mb .kind of unbelievable for a 100 min HD movie.

Well me & a pack of my mates have gone HD only(well almost). The quality is mind blowing compared to anything that you have ever seen.I recently got Mission Impossible II in full 1080p & boy the video is absolutely stunning.I haven't seen an actual 1080p video but my guess is that if you have larger screen then it would make a grave difference.

For those who use PC monitor's for HD content viewing then those 720p movies would do just fine.1080p comes into picture when you have 26 inch & above.Rips can be called HD movies although not true HD as they are compressed heavily. The resolution of these movies are usually very high compared to your average original DVD's.Hence the love for it.Watch it once & you won't every go back to standard definition.

The ones which you mentioned are of 700MB types cannot be labelled as HD ones as they are source might be HD but the compression is very low & so is the resolution.:bleh:

I've tried both the full DVD9 8GB movies as well as the 5GB rips and I don't seem to find too much difference in video quality using the 1920x1080 resolution scaling on my TV. So obviously I download the 5GB versions ;)
