I've been using this wonderful device for almost 3 weeks now and I must say, I love it in every way. Google and Asus have a winner here. The screen is gorgeous and hardware is great, build quality is also decent. Will try to post a review once I get my lazy ass to work on it. :P

Unfortunately, like the past few Nexus devices, this one is plagued with a few issues as well. The most common being the touch screen issues. Those who have bought this device, how bad/good is it?

I have a 32GB wifi version made in July 2013. It came with JWR66N and I didn't have any issues then.
Multi touch issues started after updating to JSS15J and got worse with JSS15Q. I now have the single touch problem as well which is very annoying while typing.

Hopefully Google releases another update soon which will fix the touchscreen issues for everyone.

On all stock settings I have the battery drain caused by Google play services

After some tweaks I am waiting to see the results

Surely something wrong. I have excellent battery life. Try clearing cache/data of play store in settings.
Btw, for those with touch screen issue, check xda for a patch someone made. It helped quite a lot.

Clearing cache/data, signing-out and then signing-in again, uninstalling and reinstalling Play are some of the things you can try. If nothing helps, a factory reset should do it.
In my case, only a ROM change rectified the issue!

Battery life now great after switching off the always available for scan Wi-Fi option
Now there is no google play Services in the battery use list

Awesome

Good to know your device is working fine @Aman27deep.
What firmware are you on?[DOUBLEPOST=1379439218][/DOUBLEPOST]OTA for JSS15R is rolling out.
Hope Google releases the firmware image soon.

I was thinking of getting one but with so many issues and no warranty in India, I have resisted. How bad is the issue now? I hope its not a hardware issue. I have seen the xda forums and from that i got the impression that the multi-touch issues are quite bad.

I have the latest build on the N7 2013....I dont have any battery drain and no multitouch issues...I had also heard of the same but so glad it wasnt true for me...

I also tried the YMA some test for multitouch and it passes with flying colors
