How much more space does the Black Edition require then the vanilla pack?
I still use a 40gb and wondered whether the Black Edition will take up a full extra gb.

It includes only bonus videos and a few more cars right?

there is no difference, the bonus dvd has nothing to do with the gameplay, it has just behind the scenes crap and the soundtracks as well are included in the black edition

No extra cars also? The 911 GT2 and Corvette C6 are only there in Black Edition I think.

What chuts EA have become, as if ug1 and 2 weren't obvious enough, they are literally trying to sell the same game twice this time.
Not that I paid even once for that matter...

black edition has two extra cars and one extra heat level... like level seven... thats it...

and no the bonous dvd's just has some cool video's and some behind th senes footage... not worth it IMHO...

There is no GT2 in Black Edition. There are 4 porsches... The Cayman S, The Carrera GT, The Carrera S and the Turbo S.

Corvette C 6 is there.

And there are no 7 heat levels. In normal racing, 5 is the max but in the very last chase sequence, it is 6(where the black Corvettes are chasing you. In level 5, the white Corvettes are chasing you).

@Switch.... which are the 2 extra cars??

Cool so vanilla has all the vehicles.

Didn't know the bonus videos are worth a full extra dvd, in that case it makes sense putting out 2 versions of the box for people who don't want to pay more.

vanilla doesnt have the camero and there was something mentioned about the bmw being drivable from the beginning.

nope...... The Beemer is not driveable from the beginning...

And the Camaro is available only in the Challenge series. It is the final challenge. Yiu are in a Camaro and being chased only by Rhino units. Damn tough.

Btw, the extra cars in the black edition can be got in the regular edition by applying a small patch. Its around 400kb or so..

Me thinks this is something lik the famous hot coffee patch in GTA.. :)

The camaro ss and the m3 gtr is available in single races from the start (under bonus cars). Press up or down in the car selection screens to go between different car sectons (career, bonus, stock, etc).

Since only rhinos are chasing after you in the last challenge, there are only slow pursuits, and no heli or spikes. Hence i found it comparitively easy. Think i did it in 3.5 min

corvette is the worst car to do the race (though its good if u want to immobilize cops in milestones and bounty) .. the best ones for race are lumbergini(hey .. whts the spelling!!) and eclipse :D

totally off topic though :D

I got NFS: MW on PS2, no tension about system requirements crap.

It looks excellent.

It has all the cars of Black Edition. :bleh:

It is better than the PC Version.

MOD EDIT: Please avoid talk about Piracy :)

Nice game, great graphics and engine sounds. Speed breaking is awesome.
Horrible horrible car models, wtf made them, all the cars look flattened especially the lambo and viper.

ps2 version isn't anywhere near pc version which looks as good as the x360 version. The lacking multiplayer capabilities serve only to highlight the crap AI.

Hmm I have given up more or less on NFS games now, unless they release a gem as NFS 5. Even NFSU was a fresher.

You want a good arcade game? Play rallisport challenge and motogp2, they're the best ones since nfs4.
World racing is good too, but the nice arcade feel isn't their. It's semi-arcade like nfs5 and has the latters excellent artwork too.

nfs mw is cool enough and has much more quality than both the underground games had (remember the ultra lo-res intro vid in ug2?).
Force feedback is crap though, it never stops rumbling at all.

lol...only my left motor works in nfs:mw. As for the models, some are dissapointing. Like you said, the viper was total crap. I remember the add on viper for nfs 3. That was brilliantly modlelled.

In my case both the motors keep rumbling constantly.

This new nfs is true to the roots but. Although music could be better, they need to lose the post underground rap influence.

Later tracks look different or all have the same suburban feel?
I want stuff like aquatica, celtic ruins and the lost canyon from nfs3/4.

True.... I also want Zone Industrielle, Corsica, Auvergne....

Agreed NFS Porsche Unleashed is still the best in the series.

I picked up NFS MW for Rs. 1299. A week later I saw the Black Edition and picked that up. Thank god for a friend who picked up the regular. Lost 300 bucks in the process.

I did not even need to reinstall the game. It played with the same CD 1.

EA needs to release something like Gotham City Racing or a Grand Turismo.

Where have the really good sim gone????
