Forerunner
First teaser video of Need for Speed Shift. NFS Shift will hit stores in Europe on September 17 and North America on September 22, 2009. Need for Speed SHIFT brings a true drivers experience to some of the worlds most iconic racing tracks, including the storied Brands Hatch in the UK. The game also features the largest roster of high-performance cars in Need for Speed history including race cars such as the Pagani Zonda F, Porsche 911 GT2 and Lotus Elise.

Players are thrust into the loud, intense, and athletic experience of racing a car from the drivers perspective through the combination of perception based G-forces, the hyper reality of the cockpit view, and the all-new brutally disorienting crash dynamic. Need for Speed SHIFT features an accurate, accessible physics-based driving model that allows you to feel every impact, every change of track surface and every last bit of grip as you push yourself to the edge.

Need for Speed SHIFT is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios in collaboration with Black Box and Patrick Soderlund. Slightly Mad Studios includes developers and designers that worked on the critically acclaimed games GT Legends and GTR 2. The PSP version is being developed by EAs Bright Light studio.

its GRID...its GRID.....with slight special effect(during damage ).

Which is unrealistic. I mean i can do without the overuse of bloom in GRID, but why would i buy this?
I want them to put a self-regenerating 100 gallon N2O(NOS or NaAaAaWzzzZZ!) that can take me to a million miles per hour in 0.5 seconds.
Then i'll play it.
Once.

ea wants to reclaim the wide fan base it lost after games like pro street and undercover, they are making it look like a lot like grid which is a hit amongst the gamers.

but ea, making it look good is not enough, improve the bloody gameplay and let the cars feel good also.

LOL, if Codemasters release an update to GRID with reduced bloom n improved boost support for all cars (which ws partly introduced in v1.2) then NFS gets Pawned again :P

Btw Nice Copy, shud sell if it has NOS.

It might already be too late, have you seen the GRID DLC? 8-ball pack adds the Honda S2000 drift car, Nissan NISMO GTR, Mclaren F1 etc etc.... and 8 new events as well i think. :bleh:
GRID was what put the final nail in the coffin for Undercover, also, FUEL is just around the corner, EA should aim to release this before that.
Also, NOS junkies have Burnout Paradise now.... im really really not sure this is gonna work...

looks good...lot like grid....and when is the next "Colin McRae Dirt-like game arriving"...cant wait....gravel/mud tracks for me...too much asphalt in these classic racing circuit type games....and shiny too...
