If not, check out the FAQ's, which will tell you everything you need to know to complete the game without cheats (you'll need this when you come to water sample puzzle in Re3).
And Re3 don't have official cheats, the only way to get unlimited ammo is to play The Mercenaries (Operation Mad Jackal) mini game for godly amount of hours, collect over 10,000 points and buy the upgrade, but still, Re3 is the most easiest resident evil when it comes to ammo supply, they are everywhere, I never ran out of handgun bullets even when I play on a trigger happy mood.
