Nikon Coolpix L1 Memory query

I tried inserting an 8GB Sandisk micro SDHC card through SD adapter into my Coolpix L1 but it doesn't recognize it.....

The camera completely freezes.....I've tried a non HDSC 2GB micro card and it works.....

Is it because the adapter doesn't support HDSC? It's a normal kingston adapter..

Any ideas???

PS:-the card is class 2 but when i did transfers via computer, it get an average speed of 6MBps.....is it normal?

did u try using the same card with sm other camera ??

The transfer speed to PC is normal...

check for any firmware updates on SDHC support via nikon,
also does your new card is authentic too ? double check the same !

The card's all right.....it may be coz the l1 doesn't support a sdhc
