Android No 4G support in new phones?

Any reason that none of the new phone like the Nexus 6 or the HTC One have the 2300 band of 4G that Airtel runs on? How do they expect sales in India? Am I missing something? Just saw that even the new Samsungs don't support 2300 band? Like I said, am I missing something obvious?

India's 4g band is different than the 4g band in USA, that's why you only see some low end 4g models specifically designed for Indian 4g band .. Mi redmi note 4g and another Lenovo phone

The newer iPhones do have the 4g bands.

The HTC One also has it according to this article.

Not all devices have it but most of the newer ones do.
