PC Peripherals no audio in my dth RCA to pc tv tunercard connection !!help

i have shown the rear view of my tv tuner card

and this is my cable from set top box

i can connect only the yellow cable here and there is no port for sound connection

is there any special cables available for it

i have got no sound card

i connected the stereo end[ i mean the single pointed end] to the blue color of the tv tuner card.

then there is a connecting cable which came along with the tv tuner card.i made a connection between the green port of the tv card and the other end to the blue port of the mother board. thats all ...:)
 
there are two ways that u can get sound in ur pc, take a stereo to rca cable. make sure it has female connector at the rca end( the one shown in thread has male connectors). Connect red and blue cable from dth to female of rca end. And then
1. connect stereo end to Line in of ur PC's sound card or
2. connect stereo end to tvtuners line in (blue) and use the small stereo to stereo cable supplied with ur tv tuner to coonect tv tuner's audio out to sound card's line in.
While playing tv, select sound source as line in both the cases

thats what i did

i think the problem is in the tv tuner card sound section:huh:
 
Probably u are not selecting the right option in the sound line selection in the software u are using.

See better connect the cable directly from the DTH to ur mobo 'LINE IN'.
And select LINE IN in ur software. U should be able to get sound.
Also make sure that LINE IN option is not muted in audio options.

more over i used another software called as tv plus and it is line in by default.but no use.hence i shifted to win dvr software:(
