PC Peripherals No Audio through Bluetooth Headphone on PC

My PC Speakers went kaput so currently i am using boAt Rockerz 510 using a Bluetooth dongle for my PC. I am able to hear sound from MPC / Youtube etc. but when i try to play games like Apex legend or Guardian of galaxy there is no audio output, if i switch to MPC whilst game is running audio is back...but not in games. i have tried tinkering with Audio settings in the game but no use. Have a blaupunkt bt05bk which i tried but again no use. do i need to get wired headphone/speakers to be able to play games??
