I had recently bought this Microtek 1000VA UPS and been using it for a week. Yesterday evening we had a powercut and the computer went on back up power, the red light on UPS was flashing (Red light indicates Fault). Since I hadn't used this ups before I was under the assumption that red light on the UPS meant it is running on back up. The UPS kept beeping every 30 seconds.. after 10 minutes of so, the display went off and the Cabiner power switch LED started blinking. I tried to press the reset switch beneath it and it didn't work. I tried to do a hard shutdown by holding the Power key on cabinet for a minute, that didn't shut down the computer either.. The Cabinet light kept flashing. So I turned off the UPS to do a force shutdown.
A hour later power came back and I turned on the UPS and the system booted fine. I was working for another 30 minutes or so the Power went off again. This time again same thing happened and after when the power came back I turned on the computer it turned on but there was no display!
Monitor reads "NO Hdmi cable found, check your cable".

Next I opened up the cabinet screws to check if 600 W PSU is working fine or not. I see the GPU fans are running, CPU fans are running, cabinet fans all are running smooth. The dvd drive ejects fine. No warning beep sound nothing.. But I don't get any display. Suspecting the monitor I brought in my 32" LCD tv and removed the HDMI from the monitor and connected it the TV's HDMI. Again no display.

I checked if the GPU is seated firmly on it's PCI slot and it is. I am suspecting a faulty HDMI cable may be? or the GPU itself is bad?
GPU has DVI port but my monitor has only vga and hmdi ports. So I am unable to rest the output from the dvi ports.. Please help!
