I might get a old antec nsk 4400 cabinet. It does not have front audio ports. Is there any 'adapter' that can give me the same audio ports on the rear ? For earphones.

^ this is going to be my testing pc - for things i would not like to do on my pri pc / dl pc, so want cheap solution

why not get a 3.5mm audio extension cord. you will be using only audio out from back port for earphones right? you can get these for around 50 in the electronics shop.

Its for 95/- on homeshop18..

and yes, extension cord is better option. You can get that locally for 20-30rs. easily from any audio hardware store

so there's no such thing as a adapter, right ? actually three people i know have the same prob. they want to have speakers + ephones.

Got another solution for you. Get a 3.5mm audio extension cord. Next connect the cord to the line-in(blue) socket in the mobo back-panel. And your regular desktop speaker should be connected with the Line-out (green).

Now change the Line-in as "audio out", from the windows audio control panel.

I hope you are getting my point
