[no longer available] Free Win 8.1 key to Dreamspark members

assuming I take win 8 key and download that ISO, it is possible to upgrade from Win 7 without loosing data right?

Or is that ISO usable for fresh install only?
 
I had an ACM account but it expired on 30th Sept and now its up for renewal. But the thing is using that account I cant access Dreamspark now, wasn't there a 24month support, wherein you could login within that time frame and download what you have already downloaded?

Yes you could , I was the first one to buy Dreamspark account so if mine works then everybody else account has to work

My Dreamspark accounts are active, do not know about am account..

I think I'll make a backup of all the keys in have..
 
Yes I also cannot login , my account also expired on 30 Sept , It was just my good luck that i took out my Win8.1. keys before account expired .
ALL DREAMSPARK MEMEBERS BACKUP/DOWNLOAD YOUR KEYS BEFORE ACCOUNT EXPIRATION .

But what about that 24months access to dreamspark mentioned while registering for ACM in the first place? Did they change the rules regarding access to Dreamspark.
