As a registered member on ebay, I have been regularly buying and selling for a long time. Effective 1st July 2017, our roles as sellers on ebay, come to an end as it would not be possible to lsit an item for slae on ebay without a valid Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (“GSTIN”).
I have no idea what that is and where I can get one from. But since I am more into buying and not selling, I guess I have to stick to various forums and OLX or Quikr to sell my things. However, I feel that many good sellers who are into selling small but useful items, are going to move out of ebay because of this. That would affect us as well. What are your opinions?
This is the mail I received BTW
