Forum Feedback No more TE newsletters?

I was organizing my email and found the last July newsletter, and I don't remember receiving any after that. Newsletters are a nice way to stay in touch with the community, especially reaching out to inactive members who don't get time to visit TE often enough.

The newsletter could also be restructured to provide current pricing of new hardware in the market, recommended configs (low to high end, Intel and AMD), upcoming game titles to look out for, etc.

I hope to see the monthly newsletters back in Oct...
 
I asked this a while ago to rave and it seems people who volunteered for newsletter are now BUSY.

So AFAIK Rave was working on newsletter. THats all i know.
 
Thanks Funky. Well, time to look for new volunteers then - no point waiting on anyone who can't deliver stuff.
 
Mods, I also miss the contests for best avatar, signature, wallpaper, etc.

@raj, feel free to right click > save > upload avatar and show your love for kcab.
 
Well, DC And Justin were in charge of the newsletters... Justin got married and got busy (obviously :P :rofl: :lol: )

And DC is extremely busy nowadays..... It is not such a surprise that the newsletter stopped..... I guess as a temportary measure, they can assign the responsibility to some other person who has free time on his hands (Anyone for Akshay Talwar as Newsletter editor :rofl: ??)
 
Nikhil, why don't you take this on? I'll help wherever I can ;)

And if kcab becomes newsletter editor, I'll buy Karan's ticket to go kick his @$$.
 
hehe..... I guess one newsletter a month I can handle :P

Yes we are aware of what's happening to NL's.

The thing is we are not looking for temporary solutions, as we cannot be in dilemma every 1 or 2 months - asking what now?

We especially Admins have been very busy with the TE & FE as you all rightfully acknowledge.

Thanks for your wonderful suggestions, please await our decision on NL's. Would not like to divulge all the details but it would be a lasting solution and not a stop gap arrangement.

About Octobers NL - no promises, but we hope to make it for November for sure and no it would not be a temporary arrangement.
