Hey guys,
i recently purchased a SATA LG DVD writer without realisin dat i dont hav a SATA port on my MB. I hav 2 IDE ports only. So shud i get an IDE DVD writer or shuld i get a SATA to IDE converter?

MotherBoard - Intel i845G/GE/GV/GL/PE-W83627X

Pls suggest.

Get a PCI SATA expansion card (~400 at your local computer market) - In the future you can use it for hard disk expansion also.
 
Get a two way SATA IDE converter so that later when you upgrade to a SATA board, then you can still use your IDE hard disks.
