No Sound in Vista 64

I am using X64 for second time and getting no sound .. I didn't face similar problem when I installed it for the 1'st time ! Donno what happened :S

Ok I have # AMDâ„¢ 790GX Chipset and AMDâ„¢ SB750 Chipset has Realteak 8 channel audio :S 8-Channel HD Audio CODEC .. .

I installed the audio driver multiple times yet no audio :S Donno whats the problem ..

Please help me

does the drivers show up as installed in the Device Manager?

Or it might have be muted in sound properties?

Yes ! But the speakers are working fine in Linux :S Though my subwoofer is not working

Sounds and Audio > Speaker Settings> Advanced> Speaker Setup - select Surround or 5.1 setup.

Tools -> Options -> Devices -> Speakers -> Properties -> Sound Playback

choose the output device
