Nokia has announced their latest handsets in their entry level offerings. Introducing, the light and able Nokia 105 and the more feature packed cousin Nokia 301. More details as follows.
Nokia 105
Nokia 105 is Nokia's latest and cheapest offering in the entry level segment. This is Nokia's push into those who can barely afford a cell phone, as well as to the 2.7 billion people who are yet to buy one. Nokia 105 features include:
Packing a 35 day battery life is something that makes every smartphone owner envious. The Nokia 105 is an ideal backup device. For $20 i.e. Rs. 1,120 we could agree more. Expect availability in India in by March.
Nokia 301
Based on the S40 platform, the Nokia 301 is a notch above the Nokia 105. Offering a "smart" camera as well as 3.5G HSPA connectivity, we see that Nokia is indeed trying to make this feature phone, feature packed.
A 2.4 inch display is the way to go for the Nokia 301 (no touch!). The 3.2 MP camera should get daily general snaps done. There are many photo shoot options such as Panorama too (surprise!). Voice guided self portrait shot is particularly cool. Youtube streaming is possible with this handset, and apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp are onboard.
Single and dual sim variants will go on sale starting $85 or about Rs. 4,500.
