Nokia 5233 restarting randomly, what to do ?

Guys,
My less than a day old Nokia 5233 has restarted atleast 10 times and it happens ramdomly. I can say for sure that its not related to running multiple apps or something, cause when I tried to run multiple apps everything seemed to be ok.

Is anybody else suffering the same problem ?

My friends E72 has the same problem.

What exactly happens: The screen goes blank--then white--then the Nokia logo appears (not the holding hands which appear when the phone is started manually)--then the home screen appears.

I dont think so. Most of the 5230 users,including me,havent faced this problem.
Have you installed something new on the cellphone abby? Have you updated the firmware?
What you are describing is a phone crash. My 6681 used to crash in the same manner usually due to corrupted software.
Make a backup and do a hard reset. See if that helps.

Are you sure this model is discontinued??? Can you please provide the source of this news?
@OP-Try doing a hard reset. If that doesn't work, take it right away to the Nokia Care.
