Time has come to buy a new phone for my sis :)

And the Budget is between 5-6k.:ashamed:

Had put my doubts on phone advisor thread and thetoxicmind suggested to go for 5130XM instead of a used 5320 XM.

Did some research and both the 5130 and 5320 and found the 5320 :cool2: except the battery life :(

Comparison of both the cell
Nokia 5320 vs. Nokia 5130

Pls share your views :p

Battery is not too bad on 5320XM. I use my mobile for 30 to 45 mins calls, around 2 to 3 SMS, around 1 hour of gaming, and maybe 30 to 45 mins songs everyday, and still I manage to get at least 3 days of battery life. Of course, I have switched the network to GSM mode (I don't use 3G), and have the screen at minimum brightness (which is still bright enough). To me, this much of battery life id more than sufficient. ;)

Drawbacks with 5320 are that it has a poor camera, speakers are not good (music through earphones sound simply great), it is bulky than 5130, and it is no longer in production.

Advantages, other than those already mentioned include Symbian OS, a very good hardware (on par with some N series mobiles) and SYmbian OS again.. :D

speakers are not good (music through earphones sound simply great)

I bought my sis a 5130Xm... Can tell u a few tngs... Good display... Sounds greattttt on headphones(i bought an in ear panasonic headphone for her, dont remember the model no, it cost around 600rs), speaker phone is OK, good GUI (tons of themes available for download), fast....

But the big let down is the battery.. u will get little over 2 hrs talk time.. standby time is around 16 hrs....
