Nokia 6300 OS

Dear Friends,
I have a nokia 6300 phone with series 40 3rd edition (not sure about the edition)..Is there any way i can change the OS?I'm fed up of seeing the same old stuff..can i install series 40 6th edition? I have no idea regarding mobile phone's OS...so please enlighten me...

Your only option if u want a new OS is to buy a Nokia Supernova which has the S40 v6 or a Windows Mobile phone. The Windows Mobile phone s have the ability to be flashed with a newer edition of the OS whenever they come out but they behave a little slow as the OS was not optimised to run on that old processor.
