NOKIA 6670 voice not clear!!

I have a Nokia 6670...Everything was fine till some days back...but suddenly I've noticed that the voice of the person on the other end sounds a little distorted these days...Its not a Network problem...I have tested in areas with full coverage...The problem is there even when i use my handsfree kit...My voice can be heard clearly on the other end....I think there is some problem wth the sound output of my phone....What should i do??
This happens in all the calls...The voice of the person on the other end sounds as if the person is underwater....the voice mixed with some gurgling sound...:huh: ....Help me out...
 
question : While using the phone by anychance would u say, sweat/ water entered the speakerphone or ur keypad of the phone... cause tht is the main thing tht would make ur speakerphone go boinkers,

but he has said the problem is there with handsfree kit also so i doubt that

If u mean the service provider then its HUTCH

Also the code for EFR(Enhanced full rate) codec is not working...

Even the code *#92702689# does not work....I get the message "Telephone : Operation Time out" when i type this command...Any connection with the sound problem...
 
EFR codec changing code is for only old models like 3315. newer ones cannot be changed by the user only nokia service ppl can change it.

The second code must show the life timer of the phone. It should work fine. maybe its better to get the phone serviced at nokia care.

i know, but if water has gone in ur speakerphone, it would screw up the connecting sound coil, and tht would lead to trouble in the overall receiving system..
