The Finnish and the heavily popular company in India, Nokia has announced a new trendy phone which is clearly aimed at the young audience. The phone, which is known as the Nokia 109 has some pretty nice features for the price, such as Dual SIM, a 1.8 inch TFT display, a rear VGA camera, GPRS/EDGE for internet connectivity, Bluetooth, FM radio, etc. The phone also features Twitter and Facebook integration, which is also aimed at the young audience.

The phone is also very light, weighing in at only 77 grams, but it is 14.8 mm thick. There is 64 MB of internal data available which can be further expanded upto 32 GB using an external microSD card. It is running on the Symbian, S40 platform. The battery in this phone is rated at 800 mAh, and can go upto 33 days of standby according to Nokia.

The phone will first release in China, followed by the rest of the world. After getting the phone, a user can also download upto 10 games for free from the Nokia store (EA games only). At launch, it will be available in two colours, Black and Cyan. The phone should be around the Rs. 2,300 price range, and it should launch here very soon, as soon as under a fortnight.
