Need to get a Nokia phone serviced in Chennai. Which of the Nokia Care centers has a good reputation?

The nearest was one at Ashok Pillar, but a quick search on google only pulls up complaints. Anyone with good experiences anywhere else?

Thanks in advance :)

I have one for u boss.

On North Usman Road near the Tnagar- Mahalingapuram flyover.

I had taken my N73 to repair and it was out of warranty some 2 years back they repaired the same for me free.

My dad got 5800 updated and got some display issues corrected for the charges specified in the Nokia sheet a couple of months back.

They also offer u warranty extension...which i was not clear ....as both the phones were out of warranty by that time.

^ Thanks!

Out of curiosity, could you mention your good and bad experiences?

At Ashok Nagar, I had to walk in twice to get my charging pin and software resetted in two days, asked them why such a negligence from your part and simply answered, we only repair what is mentiond on the job sheet. At least they could have checked up all aspects of the phone is working or not before delivery, though this never happened. I was charged 450, twice to get the service done. I said its is you fault and they were not willing to give in.

Though NokiaCare works on Sunday too from 10am to 5pm, and my phone was supposed to be delivered on Sunday, this never happens in this outlet. I tried contacting them on the number on their JobSheet and no one ever picks up the line. So I had to go on Monday to pick up the phone. I enquired why no one answered the phone, a lame excuse came from their end saying no one really works on a Sunday. Was too frustrated, as i needed the phone urgently.

Even the expereince of walking int th store was so unpleasant.

As with Adyar, the store is located in the Basement, I walk in and immediately an executive walks to me and asks is it service or delivery. He gives me a token for service and under 10mins its done. Again they said they will delivery time may be delayed as my mainboard had some fault, so waitied two days. They sent me a SMS stating that i can come and collect it on a Sunday, I ring them up again to double check as to whether the Shrowroom is working r not, and they very politely say it works till 5pm, so any time before 5pm, pick up please.

An overall satisified with the manner in which they dealt things.

My dad tried the place in Adyar (Veetee communications) and got his issue fixed in 45 mins. He was happy with the experience and felt it was more organised compared to the Ashok Pillar one.

Thanks! :D
