As iphone 4 was recently launched in india, nokia has made a new ad- iDoalotmore which is directly aimed at iphone 4 and it discusses about the better out of the box experience provided by the nokia phones.

Lets see what they offer when on Windows.

I don't know whether its correct or not but I always found Windows phones to be less lagging than similarly priced Androids.

May be something to do with optimization.

I recently gifted my dad a Nokia E5 (and took his 7 year old Nokia 1200 for using myself :P).
 
This nokia india Ad somehow reached iclowns engadget who are diehard symbian haters but just look at the bashing engadget is receiving in the comments section,they are deleting comments after every few mins lol.

It looks fine, but doesn't work fine. I don't know when they launched Ovi (or should I say Nokia) store, but one critical functionality was missing till now - checking of updates for software installed using the Ovi store application. They are going to introduce the functionality probably next week, that too for Symbian 3 only (I think). Not to mention that you cannot purchase apps if you are an Indian non-Reliance customer. And to top it all, buggy....

That's the only way I can get rid of my frustration whenever I look at my C7 & 5800...Bash them where ever I can :D

IDK about you but I never had to bash my Nokia 1100 and 1200 :P

that isn't funny, it's of an ignorant person..

I can even download ovi store apps(free ones) to my PC with ease and then install them on my handset.

Haha, bet android app store doesn't allow that legally.
 
Man,This is just a blatant copy/Inspiration from the Motorola Eye adverts from last year, you remember they were all the rage, "droid does" this and that

Come on Nokia , We know you make great devices and even better ads (N95, 3220) , You dont need to stare down your competitors in order to beat them in the market.
 
Doesnt PS3 has something like this " It only does everything"

Meh. .to originality. Meh. to the aging Symbian OS. :(

Yeah, thats right, they don't need to poke fun at competitors.

This is similar to the im a mac/im a pc campaign by Apple, in which they tried to ridicule Microsoft.

Also Sony's Move ads in which they made fun of Kinect and Wii.

I guess Nokia will make a comeback with WP.

At least then we won't have to tolerate the laggy interfaces of Droids.
 
I also saw the ads on the newpaper and it looked just iwannabe type from Nokia, rather than trying to compare nokia with apple and saying they are better, they should advertise more about their phone feature in general. I am at the moment using a iphone but i have used many Nokia phone in past and i feel they are pretty good phones. iphone or nokia N8 is more of a personal choice rather than which is better of two .....
