A new one cost 7.3K at shopclues.com
http://www.shopclues.com/nokia-lumia-610-2.html

And you wanna sell your 2yrs old mobile at 6k
Buyers should note that this is a WP 7.5 handset and you can update it to the half-assed WP7.8 at best. WP8 cannot be installed on this handset, nor will it receive any new updates. The second hand value of this mobile has already tanked to around 3k, so keep that in mind too.

Looks like u both want to buy this ?

U want the seller to ask what u want him to sell it for ? could have pmed him.

I was spreading awareness lol

This is what the seller has written right down in his post "If you have any problems about the price or wish to make an offer, kindly do so through PM. I might just be a little generous at times."

Why not respect that? I know we all want other people to make an informed choice, and anyone who is looking to buy a used mobile (particularly on TE) is an informed citizen. Please refrain from low-balling (read: spreading awareness, in your case) or playing a messiah on other's posts and spend that valuable time somewhere else!

MODS: You have got to be more strict about such things. Please reduce the trophy points of people who make or bring no sense to this community!

@creative420 I dont see anything wrong with what @Blue Leaf has written. At times people buy their product at X cost and expect say a Y rate for it. These rates most of the times are impossible. So just letting the seller know is a good way to communicate and he could update the price if he feels right. For example if someone buys a product 1 year back for say 20k and now wishes to sell it at say 15k but in the mean time the market price of the product has come down to say 16k then though the seller feels its at a discount, no one might buy it as the market price is close to the selling price. Many sellers revise the price if told that their price is quite high for resale.

That is not right IMO. If the price of the seller is less than the market price and you can't find an eBay/online store link with a price less than that of the seller, one has no right to advise the seller w.r.t. his pricing. Any depreciation in the price of the item is subjective and these days one has to unfortunately price one's items higher so as to leave room for bargaining which earlier was unheard of in forums.
Also everyone who says they are trying to help the seller to price his item right so as to ensure fast sale is BSing IMHO. Any buyer who will even consider buying a used item from a Forum Marketplace will 99% of the time know what is the current retail price and going price for the same used item.
I also can't fathom how will it hurt your health if no one will buy the item for the asking price, as many say. Let the pricing be a thing to discuss between the prospective buyer and the seller.

The way you value your money is always going to be different what others do. I really wish the seller had posted a query on "How much can I expect" thread to post the right price according to the members of this community, but he didn't. He has complete command over the price he wishes to get for his mobile phone. The market maybe mean, but when the seller has quoted that "if anyone feels the price is not right KINDLY PM me"...so respect that. Respect the words. This is all what I am saying. At least, contrary to other sellers who report low-ballers, he is kind enough to have a discussion about the price via PM route. Respect that, buddy. Nothing else.
