Nokia has introduced a new back shell for Lumia 620 which makes the device dust and water proof.
The CC-3061 shell for Lumia 620 is IP54 certified which means it can withstand water splashes and dust. Its not additional cover or pouch but replacement for existing back panel.
Harri Vuolle, Lumia Product Manager at Nokia said ,
“The Nokia Lumia 620 is such a beautiful device, we wanted to honour the design of the phone while maintaining the same shape and design that fits perfectly in the hand.”
“The protective shell improves the dust and splash protection. The gaps between the camera window and the shell as well as the display and the shell are better sealed, and the mesh that covers the loudspeaker is denser, making it harder for water or dust to get in.”
The shell will be available in grey exterior and yellow interior color it will be available from this month's end and will cost 25 EUR. Indian availability and price is yet to be announced.
