There is hardly anything you can do now. Formatting is the only option; but then you lose the data.Gaurish said:Nokia MicroSD Memory locked, I seem to have forgotten the password. And worst, it has some important data.
so, what to do now?
This works for some old gen symbian devices (6600) etc, but not working for the later S60 v3 devices, you can remove the password but only by formatting it with some Nokia handset (N76) and some more, but you cant remove the passwordronit said:You cant even format the card in windows or any os unless it is password unlocked.
If you are a nokia symbian user try following steps:
Install fexplorer. Open it
Browse to c:\system\ directory in your cell.
You will get a file named mmcstore this file is used for storing data related to your (MMC)-Memory card.
Open it with the inbuilt hex editor and scroll down until you find your password.
this app not support on my Phone, does not install. My Phone is Nokia 5800, memory card format is MicroSD which has been locked and I have forgotten the passwordDarky said:Try using this app:View attachment 13733

I feel that remembering the password is the only way out unless you don't mind losing the data by formatting.

I can't find nokia 6600 so I have decided to format the cardraksrules said:Since someone mentioned the hex method, i suggest you try procuring a old nokia symbian handset like 6600 from someone and get it sorted. In that case i suppose you will need a MMC adapter for the the MicroSD card.
now 9210 can be found in museums only..!!nitant said:AFAIK old 9210's can bypass this protection.
I have search a lot, seems there is no clear solution to unlock the micro sd card:|raksrules said:^^ I suggest try more before giving up and formatting. You never know you might stumble upon a solution.
