Nokia original car charger or cheap chinese 6 in 1 ?? - plz help

Hello guys, i want to buy a car charger for my Nokia E71. The cheap ones (callmate) retail for around 120/-. They are not good and the pin comes out very often and they are loose too, which is useless.

So is it better to get the Nokia original charger for Rs.200 ?. I have also other alternative 4 in 1 chinese brands which retail for around 100/- and whose pin is firm. Anyway i have not tested them.

My doubt is

Will these cheap chargers harm my mobile, affect battery life/performance in the long run ?
Will it cause my mobile to explode ?

If the answer is yes, then i will buy org. accessories which comes with 6 months wrnty ...

Plz suggest guys....
 
Nokia original for Rs. 200/- only? If that is the case you should not even think of purchasing any thing else. If you phone supports USB charging then you can take some car to usb thingy of some good brand like belkin or capdase. this will be useful for all fuure phones also.
 
Yes the MRP says Rs.240/- and I get it for 200 in the electronic market. They say it is genuine and suggest me to verify the authencity of it in the showroom or nokia care. So there wont be any possibility of that being a bogus one...

But when i asked in Poorvika (thinking that it will be more cheaper ) i was shocked to hear their price quote. One branch says 450, another says 350. WTF !!!. When i asked them to verify the package, they say the packaging wont come with MRP...

I think poorvika is very clever in fooling the customers who think everything there is sold for a reasonable price...
 
cheap ones do run the risk of busting your car fuse, and maybe worse if the fuse doesnt limit the damage if something goes wrong.

Its your call to take the risk. I dont mind using cheap stuff for charging the phone. but wouldnt do it to the car

Ur query contains ur answer mate. Get the original one unless u really want to save a few bucks. :P
