Guide Nokia Security Code Workaround

Hello everyone,
I didnt know where to put this.. Anyways I am presenting to you the two methods which I have found out (pardon me if its already known) to overcome the security code problem..

as you all know, we can lock our keypad with a security code preventing others from invading our privacy and to prevent others from making calls. This is a loop hole in nokia security and please don't use it to invade others privacy.. Use it only in extremem conditions.

1) restart the phone by removing the battery and inserting it again. This will however not disable the auto lock function and you need to start using the phone before it auto locks.

2) Call the number associated with that phone, pick up and while the call is still active, go to menu and access whatever you need. This will be shut off as soon as call ends.

Hope I have made my point here.. And hope Nokia learns about it and provides a fix..

PS : This worked on my 2300,1100 and 1112.. Other nokia phone users, please confirm..

Nokia upgraded its firmware, now it does not work anymore:p

but yeah, it used work nicely in old days. i myself have used this trick:)

now there is some sort of secret master code which can open the key pad lock. not sure though.

But y wud u need to call when u can just switch the phone off and restart and start using the phone without leaving it idle so that it locks itself up again!!!?!!!!!!

In newer phones, they start as locked:P

Then.............. what about receiving calls?

^ u can recieve calls even when the phone is locked :)
u can use the phone immediately after it starts

whats the point#2 for ?

Thats the point.. You can receive calls when the phone is locked, and you can also access the menu during the call.. and your phone is open for prying hands..
