Nokia is rumored to be planning to launch its new 6 inch Windows Phone and its Windows RT tablet on September 26th.

The Lumia 1520 is said to have a 6 inch display with 1080p resolution and a PureView camera. According to @evleaks, the phablet will be announced on 26th September and will have a 20MP camera with PureView.

The Lumia 1520 was leaked in a purported live image last month placed next to a Lumia 1020.





The Nokia Windows RT tablet codenamed 'Sirius' is also rumored to be announced on the same date.
 
Call me cynical. But i love the fact that those 2 companies are 1. Both are stellar performers who have literally re written each of our tech journey. Waiting for the synergy products.

That's not cynical. In fact, it is the opposite of cynical: you are optimistic and hopeful.

Given Microsoft's device nomenclature trend that might be named as - "X-Out of the box RT 360" and "X-Out of the box RT 360 Pro :P
 
Somebody should make a "dumb" tab - just a non-touch HD screen with the ability to connect to other devices. Get your phone tethered to this screen, and viola, instant tab for 90% of media/gaming needs.

I obviously don't expect Apple/Samsung to do this as they are quite happy to sell a duplicate (albeit scaled up) device. But if MS/Nokia want to disrupt the current market, that would be one way to go, other than fold-out screens ofcourse.
