It was a world of candy bar phones and were enjoying the limelight years back...the trends have changed and touch phones are the latest way to go.
Certain companies like Nokia,Motorola and many chinese re-branded phones have a special way to intrigue buyers..
Welcome to the Touch and Type phones.
Some of the hardcore cheap bar phone users with hesitant steps jump to the touch world with this intermediate step of Touch and Type phones and fall for this gimmick.
From my personal use(c3-01) and many around me,i can conclude the biggest brand of touch and type phones..Nokia are just a piece of junk!!
if you search around you will find many forums and mobile websites pouring in and clogged with complaints about the screen.
A month, couple of months and thats all it needs..and the screen shows its true colours.
the screen lock doesn't work, pressing icons send you somewhere else, the floating effect when you press the screen for selection and the complaints are unending.
And for confirmation sake i visited the Nokia Care and took them three weeks and they came to conclusion that it was a 'Liquid damage' and not covered under warranty.
just doubting their professionalism i contacted the online nokia customer service and got a blunt answer of 'Liquid Damage' even without saying the whole issue.
the phone was never dropped or mishandled and this is what i get...best used as a paper weight or pay 2.2k just to repair it(on a 8k phone)!!
My suggestion- stick with the bar phones or jump to complete touch screens!!
