Anyone got ANY ideas how 2 disable the Norton Security Alerts(Ur antivirus is disabled..etc.).I mean, like, I disable auto protect whenever I play games and this ******(don't wanna get banned :ohyeah: ) alert comes up and tells me that my computer is at risk! The nerve of the program! It doesn't seem 2 realise that I want it 2 shut down!Help me out, guys, buddies, pals, bros.... :hap2:

It also gave me a very annoying message, something about a Keylogger.trojan and I should do something about it. Norton couldn't fix it itself, and was annoying me to do that stuff......

well you have 3 options,of varying implications and efforts. The choice is yours.(although i find that disabling norton, and alerts still coming a lil strange.)
option 1
Dont listen to ur norton, huffing and pufing to tell u that ther trojans all around u,go online and crash !
heres how to temporarily close norton's services.Go to ,start->run then type msconfig,or services.msc .first go to services, and see if u can stop any norton named services, then go to the msconfig's services, and see if its runnig there.(just to check)

option 2
listen to ur norton, and continue getting those messages.

option 3
Stop those messages from norton ,but dopnt go online. Making a bat file like I used to do,when ur not gonna go online long list of

which you can run before playing to freee resources, but dont forget to make a gaminend.bat that has correspondingly-
net start "Application Layer Gateway Service"
net start "Application Management"
.
.
.
net start "WMI Performance Adapter"
So simlirayl add the net stop in gaminstart.bat for stoppoing norton.and thenstart it again when u finsh gaming(important unless u want opiton 1 and crash !)
to make the Gamingstart.bat and Gamingend.bat files
1.copy the text into notepad(any text editor)
2.save as "gamingstart.bat" ,and "gamingend.bat" .the quites are important ,otherwise it will make a gaminstart.bat.txt
3.create shortcuts onto ur desktop ad voila, when u wannastart gaming click on gamingstart.bat ,when u finsihs click on gamingend.bat
4.Runining the bat files open a command prompt,in case u get a message sayin, service not existisng or something, then rmove that service from both bat files. and similiratly add any more serivesc that might be found on ur comp which are not listed here, but be careful
