Not able to Unhide files

Because of recent virus attack on my laptop, my files in most of the USBs were made hidden but it and subsequently it had created .exe for the folders.
Now that i have removed the virus and things are back to normal, one issue refuses to go.
The files on my ZTE Blade were also infected and all folders on the SD Card are hidden. Not that it is a problem since this does not affect anything on phone front but when phone connected to laptop, all folders are hidden and i am not able to unhide them using normal properties -> remover hidden checkbox since the hidden checkbox is disabled :S
Tried DOS attrib command and it too did not work.

What can be done in this case ?
 
I guess the virus is still there.

I'd suggest to take backup, do a clean format and copy them again.

Used to face this type of problem back in Windows. Couldn't find a actual working remedy for this. Once this file hidden type virus attack, I found no way to rather than backup-format-copy method.
 
I dont think virus is there because all the symptoms of the same have gone and only this hidden thing is remaining. Also i have on access scan enabled so when i am accessing my SD card in PC, nothing gets detected.

Also checked through freecommander whether the folder.exe exists and there are none.
