Not able to voice chat with Yahoo Messenger with voice

Well, My friend is having this problem.

Downloaded the latest version of Yahoo Messenger with voice. Mike is also connected.

But she is not getting that "call" button. Even under Actions, there is no option to call computer.

What do I do next?? The mike is working. Tested it with Sound recorder.
 
I had the same problem. No Call button. You know how I fixed it? Went to the volume controls in the system tray and selected the mic as reocrding source (Options>properties>recording?Ok and select the checkbox under mike), and increased the volume. The call button appeared. You see, if you do not select it as the recording source, Yahoo messenger apparently does not detect the mic, and hence no call button.
