Linux Not getting Windows 7 after installing Ubuntu

Hey friends, I had Win 7 and now I installed Arch and then Ubuntu. But now I'm only getting Arch and Ubuntu on Boot menu. How to get Win 7 there too..??

I've used Ubuntu before, but that that time it detected Win 7 automatically.
 
which version of ubuntu? it should have auto detected windows 7 in the boot menu...

if not, what happens if you run "sudo update-grub" in the ubuntu console? does it show a line something like "detected windows 7"?
 
I'm using Lucid Lynx. Ya I already tried sudo update-grub but it shows

Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-21-generic

Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-21-generic

Found memtest86+ image: /boot/memtest86+.bin

ls: cannot access /var/lib/os-prober/mount/boot

Ya I had Ubuntu before too. That time it detected Windows. But after then I installed Arch and not getting anything and after a lot of trying I loosed my hope. And decided to install Arch first and then Ubuntu and thought that it'll detect all of them. But not getting Win 7 now. :(
 
This line is worrying -> "ls: cannot access /var/lib/os-prober/mount/boot" - I hope its not bad sectors.

Are you sure its a final version of 10.04 not some pre-release alpha/beta ISO ?

Update your Ubuntu install by running update manager to get the latest bits then rerun "sudo update-grub", does that make a difference?

i m not sure but there must be way to make manual entries in menu.lst or grub for Win 7, correct me !!! The triple boot is culprit i guess.....

You can make manual entries if you really want though these days you dont directly edit "menu.lst" (actually grub.cfg) but you edit the files in /etc/grub.d like "40_custom"
