Android Note 3 N9005 goes into boot loop whenever sim is inserted

So an update.

My phone is on latest firmware via KIES. Singapore ROM i guess. Rooted. Still boot loop's if i turn my Wifi ON. Any idea how to fix this. The seller in ebay bailed.
And i see many users are facing this issue.

I can turn the Wifi ON for large updates if the SIM is not inserted. . Not even Airplane mode will allow me to turn the Wifi on.

any ideas?
