The entry level macbook is for 49900 and untill recently there was a 12% discount on it, i.e student's discount, am pretty sure this thing will be back again or may even still exist
that way works out to 43800, which is a pretty good deal, i dont think your sis would require a DVD writer now does she?
if u dont want a mac though then there should be other options available but am not too familiar with it, Ren should have an idea as hes in the market hunting for one so should be well informed
