Novel and Books?

I know there are many sites for e-books, even more for technical books but is there any site from where we can download Fiction and Non-Fiction Novels? :cool2:
 
Well Googling this kinda stuff results in multiple Amazon and eBay links. Regarding the search query u gave, it gives mostly RS links and I need Torrents.
 
I use Gigapedia.com and gigle.ws for searching for any kind of ebooks. But these sites provide direct download links(RS, MF etc) only, no torrents.
 
^^ Bookz on undernet used to my favourite hangout too. If the quality is anything like it used to be, you will not be disappointed in terms of collections.
 
Project Gutenberg - Its a place to get books from on pretty much every topic . You can download a variety of ebooks from the "Arabian nights" to "A field guide to sniper training" .
All the books here are legal and free (surprised ?). It specialises in English classics written by authors such as Mark Twain ,Jane Austin ,Oscar Wilde, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle etc etc.

ebooks available in many varieties like Text files , text files with pictures , Epub , Epub with pictures , Ipod playable Audio format etc etc .
How are they legal ?

Most works that are published on Project Gutenberg are now a part of the public domain. In the United States, this usually means that the book’s copyright has expired and has not been renewed, making the work the property of the public, or for the use of all.
