WTF. The HX620 still retails for 7k? :O

I got mine from Prime during Sept. '07 for 7.1k.

Nevertheless congrats!! Good buy that is. :)

No, it's not an overkill.
PSUs run best at 50-60% of their load and that the margin prefer for psus anyways for average load. :)
VX450 is for those who don't have the budget and yet have to buy a quality psu.
Or are you saying that just coz someone afforded a HX620 for a Q6600 at stock while u run ur Q9450 heavily OCed on a VX450 and want to assure yourself that you are not living on the edge. :rofl:

Check the newegg rate and estimate the margin for the HX620 here- and even Newegg has it's own neat margin afterall.
Now check other CM or even Corsair units that sell more (like VX450 and esp the TX650/750) and estimate their margins when sold here.
I love my HX620- touchwood. :D
