Now that Pocket is closing down please suggest the best alternative..I've got so used to it...

It's users on browsers are going to migrate to other tools and services.

Kobo users are most affected. It felt pretty good to save lengthy articles and read them leisurely on an ebook reader. Do these alternatives work with Kobo ?

With all AI content and fluff, good lengthy content is becoming rare these days. It may not be that big a loss in that perspective.
 
Does raindrop also have a permanent library? Does it keep a text copy of the article even if the original link is removed?

I mostly use the Pocket app on Android .Occasionally as an extension on Linux also,please....
+1 especially the discover section, I loved it. I dont read a lot of news etc as it is general sensationalism and negativity so got my content from pocket
sad to see it shutting down but not surprised honestly

Does raindrop has discover/recommendation section as well or just a bookmark manager?
