LOL.. Not worth it unless you have $1000 speakers in which case there is a good chance that you would have a decent receiver/amplifier as well with multitude of inputs and includes Digital in via Toslink as well.
 
u got it wrong 7.1 computer speakers cost u 5k to 12k
and using this cost is 6000

the only other opp is z5050 which is verry good option (5.1) (17k)

or buy amp and speaker setup which costs 50k mim

so this is useful for people how already have the computer speakers and want to use them with ps3 or xbox 360
 
LOL good justification there! So a 6k worth no-name DAC for speakers worth 5k to 12k to utilise the surround setup?

PS: It's Z5500 not Z5050.

true but in my case i an satisfied with the setup which i have

but this works well but too costly

we can recommend it if it was 50$ or less

but this thing cost 158$ that's too much
