Ok..for ppl who have played crysis...

i have a 7900gtx n will b playin at 1024 n below (might drop to keep quality up ;) ).. on Xp 32bit

nz, was wondering..which driver version did you use to play it? did you try any of the newer beta driver versions or the release driver only?

i m currently using the 6th Nov release.
Getting around 20fps with everything medium on the benchmark test @ 1024.

not done any graphics tweaking or started playin yet..... any graphical tweaks...stuff to lower etc ppl wanna suggest?

i get around 20fps on my 7600gt with the 163.75 driver...@1024*768 res..

lags a bit only when there are lots of explosions like in the Ship stage....

and oh its definitely playable @20fps may not be perfect but definitely playable...

at what settings? me getting same on medium..i m hopin ur playin on low settings :P

Finished two days back on a 8600GT 512 MB @ 1440x900 with all settings at medium... Perfectly playable with a few stutters in some really intensive stages.. but never hung up..more like for just a second..

On a side note.. gr8 game.. but not wut i was expecting... Its more of the same thing in places.. :@

I used 169.09 on my 7950GT running at 610/1600 .. game was perfectly playable at 1280*1024 , maxed , medium shaders + HDr .. fps was around 23'ish ...

Regarding performance , there's a slight improvement on my 8800GT going from 169.09 to 169.17 ...

I am playing Crysis at 1024x768 on my 8600GT on 169.21 with Particles, Physics, Water, Volumetric effects & some other set to high , everything else medium, shaders medium tweaked with HDR. I get 31 fps on the benchmark and no shuttering coz i use reserve texture feature in Crysis which caches textures before starting the game. And i love the game for it's beauty. The first scene where u see light for the first time in the game looks so so so so stunning.:D

man..........suggest me some expert solutions frm u geeks........i m having a xfx 7600GS 256 MB PCIE :ashamed: plz suggest me some way playing crysis on this........i recently installed Crysis demo, *ahem ****fying some files and max settings :ashamed: * the game started .... but i guess it was very slow.......mayb a 5 fps and 1024*768 resolution (didn't have a benchmarking software so 5 fps is a wild guess).

no way u can play crysis at max settings with that card :(
try medium settings with shadows turned off... ;)

i guess 1024x768 will be fine... also try setting AA, AF off.. :)

P.S. i play at ultra high settings... GTX rocks :P

Hi,

I had played on 7600GS Extreme Edition with medium settings at 800x600. It gives ver very playable fps. Use Crysis benchmarking tool to try out different settings. U can tweak the settings by adding commands to a Autoexec.cfg file. Dat will increase performance.

Check this link:
TweakGuides.com - Crysis Tweak Guide

Do let me kno if it's useful.
Bye,
Abhi.:)
