Laptops nvidia GPU market decreasing?

Was searching for nvidia gpu based notebooks and I can hardly find more than 1 or 2 model for each manufacturer. all i see is either intel or ati. Intel was always there but why sudden demise of nvidia?

I do know they had failing 8XXX mobile gpu which caused lot of frustration for OEMs like dell and apple, has it got soemthing to do with that?
Well personally I am neither nvidia or ati fan just buy the most VFM product but was looking forward to nvidia as its got superior linux support compared to ati.

Yes, most OEMs and system builders are no longer renewing their contracts with nVidia. The latest market stats puts nvidia's share at 29%. The mobile 8xxx chips were absolutely horrendous which caused a lot of people to dump perfectly normal laptops into the trash can.

As the saying goes - fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
